The Path to the Goal
Ryan Rowlands is a goalkeeper currently playing in the Swansea City Academy and will be moving into the U16 squad next season. Ryan has been contracted with Swansea City for the past four years, continuing to develop and progress within the academy setup.
During the 2025/26 season, Ryan recorded 19 clean sheets and achieved an impressive 67% penalty save rate, highlighting strong shot-stopping ability, composure under pressure, and consistency throughout the campaign.
Ryan also had the privilege of captaining Swansea City during the academy’s tour in the Netherlands, showing leadership both on and off the pitch while proudly representing the club internationally. Ryan continues to work hard to improve every aspect of his game and is looking forward to the next stage of development at U16 level on his lookout for a new club.
